What we collect

Order information: name, billing/shipping address, email, phone (optional), payment confirmation (we never see or store your full card details), and the products, dimensions and cropped designs you order.
Account & contact information: details you provide when creating an account, contacting support, or signing up to our newsletter.
Device information: IP address, browser, pages viewed and interactions, collected via cookies and similar technologies.

Why we use it

To fulfill your order — printing your made-to-measure mural, delivery, receipts and service messages.
To run and improve the store — analytics, fraud prevention and site security.
Marketing — newsletter and offers, only where you have opted in. You can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link.
Legal obligations — tax and accounting records.

Who we share it with

We share information with Shopify to operate the store and checkout, and with our print and delivery partners to fulfill orders. We use Google Analytics to understand store visits and shopping activity, and Google Ads to measure advertising results and support relevant advertising, subject to your privacy choices. For enhanced conversion measurement, customer details you provide during checkout, such as an email address, may be hashed before being sent to Google to match conversions with Google accounts. Hashing transforms the information but does not make it anonymous. Email service providers may also process information for the purposes described in this policy. Shopify may combine information from interactions with our store, other merchants and Shopify to provide enhanced services, including advertising and analytics, subject to your choices. See the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy for its practices and your rights. Sharing information with advertising partners for personalized advertising may be considered “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” under certain US state privacy laws. We also use Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Pixel and Conversions API through Shopify to measure store visits, shopping activity and advertising results, and to help show relevant advertisements, subject to your privacy choices and consent where required. These tools can share device and browsing information, product interactions and order events with Meta. Contact details you provide at checkout may be hashed for matching with Meta accounts; hashing does not make the information anonymous. Meta may use this information for personalized advertising and to improve its services under its own terms. See the Meta Privacy Policy. You can manage marketing cookies using Cookie preferences in our footer and opt out of applicable advertising data sharing through Your Privacy Choices.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to make the store work (cart, checkout, security) and, with your consent where required, analytics and marketing cookies. You can manage preferences via the cookie banner, the Cookie preferences control in our footer, or your browser settings; declining non-essential cookies does not affect your ability to shop. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where applicable.

Retention

Order records are kept for 7 years to meet US federal and state tax and accounting obligations. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Google Analytics user and event data retention is set to 14 months; the user-data retention period resets with new activity. Aggregated reports may be kept longer. Other providers apply their own retention periods as described in their privacy information.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, US state privacy laws — including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, and comparable laws in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and other states — may give you the right to know what personal information we hold, to request a copy, to request correction or deletion, to opt out of targeted advertising, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@muralora.com with the subject line "Privacy request". We verify requests using the email address and order details associated with your account, and respond within 45 days (extendable once by a further 45 days where permitted). An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written proof of authorization. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response; where your state provides one, you may also contact your state Attorney General.

Children

Our store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, email info@muralora.com and we will delete it.

Security

Payments are processed over encrypted connections by Shopify and its payment providers; we never store full card numbers. We apply administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the data we hold, though no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
